The Men's Football Club operates four teams that participate in the BUCS league system, with the 1st XI currently entered into the 2nd tier of the BUCS Northern League. Trials are held in Freshers Week so make sure you sign up at the Sports Fair. The club also run a Futsal team, as well as running a weekly calendar of social events for all squad members, plus some traditional end of term celebrations at christmas and easter.
Training is held at Weetwood sports facilities on the state of the art astroturf. The performance squads train Sunday and Thursday evenings, with the 3rd and 4th teams training Sunday and Tuesday evenings. BUCS matches take place every Wednesday at 2pm.
The club is committed to providing players with regular, inclusive social opportunities. These happen weekly throughout semesters on Wednesday nights with occasional end of term celebrations.
Membership is only paid once you have completed a trial and made it into one of the four squads. Sign ups for trials take place prior to the first week of term.
