There is a cash machine located in our Union Square area next to the Amazon Lockers that charges 65p per transaction. Alternatively, you can access cash through our Cash Back facility with purchases in our Coop store during trading hours. There is also a free-to-use cash machine in the Arnold Ziff building.

Gear is your one-stop shop for all things Uni of Leeds – come in to grab your uni merch! Located on the -1 floor of the Union building (and available online), Gear has everything you need to show the world your alma mater and commemorate your time at Leeds – classic hoodies and soft toys included.

Did you know that LUU’s merchandise shop Gear can provide clubs, societies and other student groups with bespoke branded clothing and accessories?

It’s the convenient way to get kitted out, with the Gear team doing most of the hard work for you.

The Green Action Food Co-op is a volunteer-run store that exists to provide cost-price ethical food and low-waste essentials. It is run by the Green Action society. Find the shop on the -1 floor of the Union building.

Located on the -1 floor of the Union building, Humpit is a fast food outlet with a difference, offering freshly made filled pitas and salad boxes with hummus, falafel, pickles and sauces, as well as their famous meal-size hummus bowls. Fresh drinks and a range of sides and snacks are available here, too. It’s 100% plant-based and 100% delicious.

Old Bar is LUU’s traditional pub, which has been serving students real ale and pub food since 1939. You can always expect a lively atmosphere here – support your team by catching a sports game, test your general knowledge at the Thursday pub quiz, and enjoy live music by local artists and musical societies on Sundays.

Try one of Pearls’ unique flavours of this delicious Taiwanese drink, made from antioxidant-rich black or green tea combined with creamy extracts, natural fruit flavourings and tapioca pearls or jelly. It’s happiness in a cup!

Pyramid – along with nearby Mango Studio – is a space for students to study, eat and chill.

This special space can seat up to 200 people and can also be set up as a 160-seat studio theatre. It is used to host theatre and dance performances, comedy nights and film screenings.

The Riley Smith Theatre is our oldest, most established venue, having hosted countless performances and ceremonies down the years before its recent refurbishment.

Located on the -1 floor of the Union building, Scream is LUU’s very own ice-cream parlour, and it is accompanied by a Starbucks outlet. Come over to treat yourself to ice-cream, hot and cold drinks, and pastries.

Stylus is the answer to all your live music and night out needs.

Home to our infamous club night Fruity, this venue is decked out with a brilliant sound system and all you need to put on a successful club night or gig.

Stylus is available to book for LUU societies and external promoters alike.

LUU is home to one of Leeds’ biggest outdoor terraces. With a whole variety of indoor and outdoor seating options, it is an excellent space to get some work done, meet your friends, and celebrate with pizza and cocktails/mocktails till late. Find Terrace on the ground floor of the Union building.

Located on the -1 floor of the LUU building, Tikka Nation is your gateway to India’s culinary treasures, offering street food favourites and authentic flavours. Straight from the vibrant streets of India – experience the spirit of India’s diverse cuisine at Tikka Nation, where every bite tells a story! There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available too.

Welcome to Union Shop – a well-stocked stationery shop right here on campus for all your notebooks, pens, art supplies, and even gifts and cards. There’s a Collect+ service too, so you’ll never miss a birthday again. No need to panic about running out of pens before a lecture – Union Shop has got you covered.
